Akafuku mochi is a mochi confectionery made with koshi bean paste on the mochi. The shape resembles the babbling of the Isuzugawa River flowing through the Ise Grand Shrine, the three-strength shape on the bean paste represents the clear stream, and the white rice cake represents the pebble at the bottom of the river.
